At Get Your Teach On, we believe every lesson, every student, and every time matters — and that starts with the resources we create for teachers.
We’re growing our curriculum team and looking for passionate, creative educators and designers who are ready to help us develop and refine high-quality classroom materials for K–5 teachers.

  • Status: Part-Time Contractor (Remote)
    Compensation: $22.00/hour
    Hours: 15 Hours per week

    About the Role

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Curriculum Developer to design high-quality, standards-based classroom resources for grades K–5. You’ll use Canva and GYTO’s design framework to bring lessons to life — creating resources that are rigorous, engaging, and ready to use in classrooms everywhere.

    What You’ll Do

    • Design original teaching resources aligned to K–5 standards (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies).

    • Create visually engaging, teacher-friendly materials using Canva and GYTO templates.

    • Collaborate with the content team to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment.

    • Maintain a consistent GYTO brand aesthetic across all resources.

    • Manage assigned projects and meet weekly design point goals.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong understanding of K–5 standards and instructional best practices.

    • Proficient in Canva and familiar with layout, color, and typography principles.

    • Creative, organized, and able to meet deadlines.

    • Teaching experience preferred but not required.

    • Bonus (not required): Experience with Asana, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Creative Cloud

    Task Submission Requirement:

If selected for an interview, the candidate will be required to complete a sample design task using a specific Common Core Standard provided by GYTO. This resource will include the following:

    • A student-facing activity (worksheet, game, or anchor chart).

    • A teacher direction page.

    • Clean, GYTO-aligned design and layout.

    • One creative classroom idea or extension suggestion.

    How to Apply:

    • Email your resume, cover letter, and portfolio to jobs@getyourteachon.com.

    • Submissions without a portfolio will not be considered.

  • Status: Part-Time Contractor (Remote)
    Compensation: Based on Completed Resource
    Hours: 15 Hours per week

    About the Role

We’re looking for a Resource Revamp Specialist to help us refresh and modernize existing teaching materials from the GYTO resource library. This individual will improve clarity, consistency, and classroom usability — keeping every design and activity true to the GYTO brand.

    What You’ll Do

    • Review and update existing resources to align with current standards.

    • Modernize design, layout, and formatting using Canva or similar tools.

    • Revise instructional content for clarity and classroom relevance.

    • Ensure all updates reflect GYTO’s tone, visuals, and framework.

    • Work up to 15 hours per week with pay determined per resource, as outlined in the contractor agreement.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience in resource creation, editing, or curriculum development.

    • Strong knowledge of K–5 standards.

    • Detail-oriented with an eye for visual design and instructional flow.

    • Teaching or curriculum writing experience preferred.

    • Bonus (not required): Experience with Asana, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

    Task Submission Requirement:

If selected for an interview, the candidate will be required to complete a sample task.

Applicants will receive a sample outdated resource and be asked to:

    • Update its design, formatting, and instructional clarity.

    • Revise it to align with a specific Common Core standard provided by GYTO.

    • Submit both the before-and-after versions to show your improvements.

    How to Apply:

    • Email your resume, cover letter, and portfolio to jobs@getyourteachon.com.

    • Submissions without a portfolio will not be considered.

  • Status: Part-Time Contractor (Remote)
    Compensation: Based on Completed Resource
    Hours: 15 Hours per week

    About the Role

    • Ensure each file includes all necessary components and directions.

    • Rename, categorize, and upload materials according to GYTO naming conventions.

    • Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure all products are complete and consistent.

    • Work up to 15 hours per week with pay determined per resource, as outlined in the contractor agreement.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Excellent organization and file management skills.

    • Familiarity with GYTO resources and elementary classroom materials.

    • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

    • Understanding of digital formatting and classroom resource structure.

Applicants will receive a sample bundled resource and be asked to:

    • Separate it into three stand-alone products (each representing a single concept).

    • Provide a short written explanation describing how you determined each division.
