Get Your Teach On’s Safety Protocols for the Return to In-Person Events

UPDATED: 2022

None of us could have ever anticipated the events of the last year, nor the challenges that educators would be facing. We have been so inspired by the ways in which you’ve risen to meet those challenges, in some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable. We want to celebrate your efforts and honor the continued commitment you demonstrated to students, families, and your community.

As we return to in-person events, we want you to know that the health and safety of our attendees, presenters, and Magic Squad is our top priority. Behind the scenes, the GYTO Team has been closely monitoring the latest health guidance and observing the best practices on how to return safely from leaders in the hospitality industry. We have also been working closely with our hotel partners and following their expert guidance to create the safest possible experience.

Below are some of the initiatives we will be implementing at our upcoming conferences. We will continue to monitor the situation and make updates to these protocols as needed.

  • We strongly encourage all attendees to be fully vaccinated prior to attending our conferences.

  • Masks and face coverings are optional.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the property.

We are grateful to have partners that are working so diligently to keep us safe while returning to some sense of normalcy. Their on-going efforts, in coordination with our own, will allow us to once again experience the joy of celebrating teachers and our shared love of learning in-person this July – and beyond. We hope to see you in a few months!
